How to raise the Grandpa Tree Frog?

The Grandfather's Tree Frog prefers to roost in trees, preferring to move and forage at night. It has a strong appetite and is easy to care for. The Grandfather's Tree Frog lives for 7-10 years and can live longer with proper care. How to care for a Grandfather's Tree Frog?

Care Equipment: A 40-40-60 cm enclosure is generally sufficient. The reason for using a tall enclosure is because it's a tree frog. A ceramic heat lamp can be used. If your home is dark, you should also use a direct light, or simply turn on your lights. A heat lamp provides heat, while a direct light prevents the light from being too dim to distinguish between day and night.

Bedding: Coconut soil or humus soil can be used. However, pay attention to hygiene, as high humidity can easily cause mold, so remember to change it regularly. Provide a water bowl for the frog. Don't overdo it, and keep the water level low. If using tap water, it's best to expose it to sunlight beforehand. Alternatively, mineral water will also work.

Temperature and Humidity: Ideal daytime temperatures are between 26-30°C, and nighttime temperatures generally should not drop below 18°C. If the temperature drops, use a heat lamp to maintain warmth. The Grandfather's Tree Frog doesn't require particularly high humidity; 50%-60% is fine. In southern China, where humidity is high, it's not a big deal. However, in northern China, where humidity is too low, you'll need to spray it with water to humidify it. Air conditioning can also cause humidity to drop significantly, requiring some water spraying to maintain humidity. In other words, if humidity is high, you can't lower it, which is fine. However, if humidity is low, you can increase it, and it's necessary.
